Humbug cover
Humbug is the Sheffield band's third album

Arctic Monkeys have released the artwork for their upcoming new album, Humbug.

The picture was taken by photographer Guy Aroch and it's the first time the band has appeared on the cover of one of their albums.

The photo was taken in Electric Lady Studios in New York during the final day of the recording sessions.

Humbug includes 10 new tracks recorded by two different producers - Queens of the Stone Age singer Josh Homme and James Ford.

Recording took place in LA, the Mojave Desert and Brooklyn.

Fans will be able to get their hands on the new release on 24 August, just before their gigs at Reading and Leeds.

The band are also doing festivals across Europe and the US this summer, including the Exit festival in Serbia and Lollapalooza in Chicago.
