Faith No More to play Reading/Leeds
Reading Festival
Reading and Leeds festivals take place over August bank holiday

Faith No More have announced they will headline the NME/Radio 1 stage at Reading and Leeds festivals.

The band did their first gig in 11 years last week at London's Brixton Academy.

Then then went on to top the bill at the Download festival on Friday night.

The San Francisco rockers are now set to continue their comeback with slots at Reading on 28 August, and Leeds on the 30 August.

Originally splitting up in 1998 after six albums, Faith No More are often quoted as being an influence by many alternative rock and metal groups.

Other big names at Reading and Leeds include the likes of Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, Prodigy, Maximo Park and Radiohead.
