Coldplay and Duffy get Novello nods
Coldplay
Coldplay are nominated in three categories at the Ivor Novello awards

Duffy and Coldplay lead the nominations for this year's Ivor Novello awards.

The duo have both been nominated in the categories of Album, Best British Selling Song and PRS For Music.

Dizzee Rascal, Elbow, The Ting Tings, MIA and Gabriella Climi also receive nominations in the awards designed to honour excellence in "British music writing."

The winners are announced in London on 21 May.

Prize winners at last year's awards included Cherry Ghost, Amy Winehouse, Take That and Radiohead.
