Elbow and Doves to play Bestival
The Manchester band have been playing together for 18 years

Elbow will headline Sunday night at this year's Bestival.

The Mercury Award-winning five-piece join Kraftwerk and Massive Attack as headliners at the Isle of Wight festival.

Fellow Manchester band Doves have been added to the bill for the event between 11-13 September at Robin Hill Country Park.

Returning goth-rockers The Horrors have also been confirmed, along with hotly-tipped newcomers The Big Pink.

"[Elbow] just make brilliant, honest music," said organiser Rob da Bank, "that, judging by the biggest sing-along I saw at Glastonbury last year, will go down a storm on the Isle of Wight."

Other acts already announced include MGMT, Fleet Foxes and Mercury Award-winners Klaxons.
