The Maccabees: Video exclusive

Watch: No Kind Words by The Maccabees

No Kind Words is the first track to be taken from The Maccabees' forthcoming as yet untitled second album.

The video features Gavin & Stacey star and friend of the group Mathew Horne.

The clip is directed by Ruth Render and the group's own Orlando Weeks.

The band's second LP, the follow up to 2007's Colour It In, is produced by Marcus Dravs and released in May. No Kind Words is currently being given away by the band for free.

Maccabees guitarist Felix White said: "Mat is a good friend and we have wanted to work together for a while now, we were keen to continue our DIY approach to video making.

"This one was inspired by the Alas Smith and Jones sketch show. It's darker mood fits the song we feel."
