Snoop Dogg's Malice In Wonderland is released in 2009

Snoop Dogg has revealed that his next album will be released by MTV.

The rapper, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, will make Malice In Wonderland available in late 2009.

The MTV entertainment group will distribute, market and promote the album after Snoop Dogg recently parted ways with record label Interscope.

Long term collaborator Dr Dre produces the LP which features Pharrell Williams and composer Lalo Schifrin.

Snoop will also release new material this year via video game Rock Band.

His MTV TV show Dogg After Dark begins in the US next week [17 February].
