Prodigy head up Download bill

The Prodigy
The band's fifth album will be released in March

The Prodigy are amongst the first bands confirmed to play this year's Download festival.

Other acts announced for the Donington Park event, which takes place between 12-14 June, include Motley Crue and Slipknot.

Pendulum, Korn, Dragonforce and Devildriver are also confirmed to appear.

Last year's event saw performances from Lostprophets and The Offspring.

Tickets are available from 9am on 13 February with more acts to be announced shortly.
