The View confirm new LP details

The View will embark on a full UK tour in February 2009

Dundee rockers The View have announced details of their forthcoming second record.

Witch Bitch? - the follow up to their 2006 debut Hats Off To The Buskers - will be released on 2 February 2009.

Single Shock Horror will be made available to download the same day.

The album's 14 tracks - including first single 5Rebeccas - were recorded in Wales with producer Owen Morris during the summer of 2008.

Friend of the band Paulo Nutini also makes a guest vocal appearance on album track Covers.

Following the record release the band will head out on a full UK tour beginning in Manchester on 9 February.
