Girls Aloud announce arena tour

The five-piece have chalked up a record-breaking 19 consecutive top ten singles.

Girls Aloud will play a set of stadium dates next year.

The girl band, who reached number one on Sunday with their fifth album Out of Control, have announced 10 UK and Ireland gigs in spring 2009.

The group kick off the tour at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on 30 April, and end their run at London's O2 Arena on 23 May.

Girls Aloud are set to head into rehearsals for the dates straight after Christmas.

The 2009 tour visits:

  • Belfast Odyssey Arena - 30 April
  • Dublin O2 - 2 May
  • Newcastle Metro Radio Arena - 5
  • Glasgow Royal Concert Hall - 8
  • Nottingham Trent FM Arena - 11
  • Sheffield Arena - 15
  • Manchester MEN Arena - 16
  • Liverpool Arena - 19
  • Birmingham NIA - 20
  • London O2 Arena - 23

Tickets for the tour go on sale at 9am this Friday 14 November.
