Keane arrive at the Q music awards in London, October 6, 2008
Keane will play three impromptu UK dates this month to coincide with their third album Perfect Symmetry.
The intimate gigs will be their smallest in three years.
Kicking off in Edinburgh on October 13 the band will take in two further dates at Leeds Cockpit 2 (14) and London's famous 100 Club (15).
The news follows Keane's success at Q Awards this week, where they won Track of the Year for their recent download-only song Spiralling.
Lead singer Tom Chaplin enthused about their venue choices, adding: "We love playing live, we love the intensity of the atmosphere in those clubs, you just can't capture that in an arena or festival. We want to do it like we used to! It is going to be amazing fun."
Fans will be able to apply for tickets from 9am on October 9 from the band's official website.
