Muse are headlining the V festivals in Chelmsford and Staffordshire
Muse say they are "happy" that a track they recorded with The Streets has been leaked online.
Links to download the track called Who Knows Who have been circulating messageboards.
The track features the band kicking off quite a jazzy sounding blues riff while Mike Skinner raps over the top.
It then kicks off into a full on Rage Against The Machine style metal/rap jam.
Muse have posted a message on their official site, claiming they are fine with the track, which they recorded a few months ago, being leaked.
It said: "The track was the result of a late night jam session and something we did for a laugh featuring a blues riff we have been playing live recently.
"It is not intended for serious release so we are happy for it to be leaked around unofficially.
"Hope you enjoy."
Muse are set to play the V festivals on 16-17 August.
The Streets release their new album, Everything Is Borrowed on 15 September and tours the UK in October.
