Kings of Leon will kick off their arena tour in Brighton

Kings of Leon are set to embark on an arena tour of the UK in December.

The Tennessee four-piece will hit the road for an 11-day jaunt which will take in dates in London, Manchester, Liverpool and Newcastle.

Tickets for the gigs will go on sale on Friday, 18 July from 9am.

The tour, which starts at the Brighton Centre on 1 December and wraps up at Cardiff International Arena on 17 December, will support their new album due out on 22 September.

The band's last appearance was at T In The Park in Scotland and Oxegen in Ireland.

They also headlined the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury and are due to appear at this year's V Festival on 16 and 17 August.

Before that Kings Of Leon will play a warm up date at Brixton Academy on 14 August.
