Oasis recorded Dig Out Your Soul at Abbey Road Studios

Oasis have unveiled the artwork for upcoming album, Dig Out Your Soul, out in the UK on 6 October.

The band have also revealed there are 11 tracks on their seventh studio album, recorded at Abbey Road Studios.

It'll be their first new material since last year's Lord Don't Slow Me Down, which appeared in a documentary about the group filmed on their last tour.

New single, The Shock Of The Lightning, is out on 29 September, with the album released on the group's own label.

It was produced by Dave Sardy, who also worked on 2005's Don't Believe The Truth.

Speaking last month about the new album, guitarist Noel Gallagher said he "wanted to write music that had a groove".

He added: "I wanted a sound that was more hypnotic; more driving.

"Songs that would draw you in, in a different way. Songs that you would maybe have to connect to - to feel."

Dig Out Your Soul track list

  • Bag It Up
  • The Turning
  • Waiting For The Rapture

  • I'm Outta Time
  • (Get Off Your) High Horse Lady
