The Last Shadow Puppets recently performed at Glastonbury

The Last Shadow Puppets have announced plans for a UK tour.

Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner and Rascals singer Miles Kane's solo project will play three dates in London, Glasgow and Sheffield in the autumn.

Tickets for the shows, which will feature a 16-piece orchestra, go on sale this Saturday, 5 July from 9.30am.

The UK dates come after the pair's recent collaboration at Glastonbury over the weekend.

The duo are also due to release new single Standing Next To Me, taken from their self-titled debut album, on 7 July.

The Last Shadow Puppets tour dates are:

  • Portsmouth Guildhall (19 August)
  • Oxford New Theatre (20)
  • Leeds Festival (22)
  • Reading Festival (24)
  • Glasgow Academy (22 October)
  • Sheffield City Hall (23)
  • London Hammersmith Apollo (26)
