New Kings Of Leon album announced

The group is named after the brothers' dad and grandfather
US rock band Kings Of Leon say they'll release their new album, Only By The Night, in the UK on 22 September.

It is the group's fourth release and is the follow up to Because Of The Times.

It was recorded at the Blackbird Studios in Nashville, Tennessee with Angelo Petraglia and Jacquire King.

The band have already played two new songs from the album called Crawl and Cold Desert.

The group, made up of brothers Caleb, Nathan, and Jared Followill and their cousin Matthew Followill, are playing Glastonbury this weekend.

They headline the Pyramid stage on Friday 27 June.

They're also playing T In The Park on Sunday 13 July and the V Festival on 16 and 17 August.

  • 16 August: V Festival, Weston Park, Staffordshire, UK
  • 17 August: V Festival, Hylands Park, Chelmsford, UK
