The Foos will play their set from the middle of the Wembley crowd
|
Supergrass, The Futureheads and US punk band Against Me! will support Foo Fighters at their upcoming showpiece gigs at London's Wembley Stadium.
The event on 6 June will feature Against Me! while The Futureheads play the following day.
Oxford four-piece Supergrass will play a 50 minute set on both dates.
Foo Fighters themselves take to the stage at 1945 and will play a lengthy two and a half hour set spanning their
six studio albums.
The shows will be staged in the round - meaning the band will play in the middle of the crowd.
Fans eager to get to the front of the stage will be able to get into the stadium from 1600, with the first band on stage at 1730.
The Foos are also playing at the City of Manchester Stadium on 2 June and will be supported by Manic Street Preachers and The Futureheads.
