Razorlight singer Johnny Borrell is to perform a one-off gig to raise awareness climate change.

The conscientious frontman is joining up with Friends of The Earth to launch the final stage of the charity’s climate change campaign, The Big Ask.

Borrell said: "I want to make sure people know what’s happening while there’s time to influence the law."

Other supporters, like Radiohead's Thom Yorke, want the government to force airlines to cut CO2 emissions.

At the moment, the aviation and shipping industries have been left out of a new bill on climate change.

Desperate to do his bit, Borrell is ditching the electric guitar and will perform an acoustic set in front of a commercial jet in the aviation room of London’s Science Museum on 3 June.

Fans have until 27 May to win tickets to the exclusive gig at www.thebigask.com.
