Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has been sentenced to 14 weeks in prison for breaching his probation.
Doherty appeared at West London Magistrates Court and was handed the sentence by Judge Davinder Lachar.
The singer was originally given a suspended prison sentence for drug possession and driving illegally in October last year.
The supervision order meant he had to make regular visits to court for progress reports, as well as taking part in a drug rehabilitation programme.
He was threatened with up to four months in jail if he broke the law during this period.
It means the singer will have to postpone his show at the Royal Albert Hall on 26 April.
The show will be rescheduled and tickets will be valid for the new date when it has been announced.
In a statement from his record company he said he had been very much looking forward to the show and wanted to offer his sincerest apologies to fans.
