Estelle has told Newsbeat she is playing Glastonbury this summer.
The London born singer, who is now based in Brooklyn, NY, has been working with artists including Kanye West, John Legend and Black Eyed Peas' Will.i.am on her new album, Shine.
This will be Estelle's debut performance at Worthy Farm, on a year when one of the biggest names in hip-hop, Jay-Z is headlining the Pyramid Stage.
It has split critics and organiser Michael Eavis has even suggested that this year's headliners are the reason for a drop in ticket registrations.
But Estelle reckons the rap star is a great addition.
She said: "I think it's about time, this has never happened.
"What is Glastonbury? Why shouldn't Jay-Z headline it? He's a worldwide global superstar not just an urban artist.
"It's credible music, it's not like he's doing, no disrespect, Will Smith-style rapping. He's doing lyrics that you can relate to."
Estelle says she is even prepared for the worst weather that Glastonbury can throw at her.
"I have white wellies, but I need some black ones!"
