Jedward demand extends X Factor tour

Organisers of the X Factor have said they've extended the programme's live tour "to accommodate the high volume of ticket requests" following "John and Edward's departure from the show".

Jedward were voted off by the X Factor judges during week seven of the competition.

The two month tour, which begins in Liverpool on 15 February 2010, has seen extra dates added in Liverpool, Birmingham, London, Nottingham, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Sheffield, Manchester, Cardiff, Newcastle and Dublin.

Artists confirmed for the tour are contestants Lucie Jones, Stacey Soloman, Joe McElderry, Lloyd Daniels, Jamie Archer, Olly Murs, Danyl Johnson and Jedward.
