Noel and Liam Gallagher
Liam Gallagher has broken the silence surrounding Oasis' August break up saying that the band are 'no longer'.
Both Noel and Liam have laid low since an altercation in Paris saw Noel leave the group blaming Liam’s behaviour.
However, in an interview with The Times Liam Gallagher said: "Oasis is no longer. I think we all know that. So that's done."
"It's a shame, but that's life. We had a good run at it. The thing about Oasis is...we ended Oasis. No one ended it for us."
Bust upThe comments appear to douse any rumours of a reconciliation between the pair.
Noel Gallagher left the Manchester band following a bust up with his brother saying he "simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer."
Liam launched his clothing line Pretty Green earlier this year but admitted that despite the break up of the band he'll still pursue music.
"I'm thinking of what the next step is musically, which is all my mind's on," he said.
The 37-year-old lead singer accepted that Noel will now probably release solo material.
"People will be able to buy his records. People will be able to buy our records. So everyone's happy."
