Snow Patrol go on 'reworked' tour

By Greg Cochrane Newsbeat music reporter Gary Lightbody Snow Patrol's 'reworked' tour will begin in November

Snow Patrol have announced details of a brand new UK tour with a twist.

'Reworked' will see the Northern Ireland band play 'reinvented' songs from the band's 15-year career as well tunes from Reindeer Section, Gary Lightbody's side project.

The tour begins in Brighton on 18 November before finishing up in Belfast on 8 December.

Tickets go on general sale at 9am on 27 August.

The tour dates are:

Brighton Centre - 18 November

Bristol Colston Hall - 20

Newcastle City Hall - 21

London Royal Albert Hall - 23 and 24

Manchester Palace Theatre - 27

Clyde Auditorium - 30

Dublin Olympia - 2 December

Killarney INEC - 4

Castlebar Theatre Royal - 6

Belfast Waterfront - 7 and 8
