21-year-old Helen (aka Primo) is an MC from Nottingham who has channelled her ADHD-related anger into music.
Helen has now started to see the positive side to her condition
Since being diagnosed, she has been put on medication to control the disorder.
She said: "The medicine brings me to a level I need to function. With diabetes or something you couldn't live without it and this is just as serious.
"I think if I stopped taking them I'd be back to how I was before - getting angry all the time, kicking off. They caught me at the right time really, the way that my mind was going."
Now that Helen has learnt to control her condition she also recognises the positive points it can bring.
"I think ADHD has made me who I am today really. It has got its good points too," she said.
"I'm quite intuitive from the start with people. I'm honest, I can't lie because I don't hold back with what I say, I speak without thinking but people often respect my honesty.
"I'm not scared to take risks because I do things without thinking. I think it's bought out my creativity and the anger - well, I'm doing something good with it because I'm putting it into my music."
