Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe look a bit soggy after a downpour at the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in London. It's the sixth film in the franchise.
Rain and hail lashed London's Leicester Square, leaving pools of water on the red carpet. Many of the cast wore white ribbons on their wrists in memory of murdered actor Rob Knox.
Robert Knox, who was 18, played Marcus Belby in the latest Potter adventure. At the premiere, Emma Watson wore a vintage dress by 1970s designer Ossie Clark with her white ribbon.
Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in the films, struggled to keep dry while signing autographs for fans in London's Leicester Square. Some had been waiting there all day to see the stars.
Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films, looked suitably drenched at the premiere as well. He said: "Last premiere it was pretty rainy. There was thunder as well."
Evanna Lynch plays Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The sixth film in the wizarding saga sees evil Lord Voldermort tighten his grip on the world of Muggles and wizards.
Other stars at the premiere included Myleene Klass, celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay and
Jamie Oliver with their families. Also Clive Owen, Graham Norton and Gary Lineker and his partner Danielle Bux.
British actor Tom Felton, who plays Harry's rival Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, said he "couldn't believe the dedication of the fans".
Jessie Cave, who plays Ron Weasley's love interest Lavender Brown, also trod the the red carpet at the screening. She thought murdered actor Rob Knox would have loved to have been there.
Jo Whiley defied the rain and went for a leggy, oriental-inspired mini dress.
Pixie Geldof stepped out in a shocking pink suit and black boots.
JK Rowling was greeted by a group of Harry Potter fans dressed up as a Quidditch team at the premiere, despite the downpour. Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince is out in the UK on 15 July.
