This is the way Michael Jackson's fans will want to remember him - on stage, in costume and running through his signature dance moves.

He looks thin, but otherwise healthy and concentrating on rehearsing for his shows at London's O2.

And yet the footage was filmed just two days before he died.

When Jackson announced his 'This Is It' concerts many doubted he would be able to perform 50 dates.

There were reports he was struggling and turning up late to rehearsals.

When the first few gigs were re-scheduled there was speculation that it was due to Michael Jackson's health.

But the concert promoters denied that, saying the reason was the complexity of the show.

Seeing the footage of the rehearsals at the Staples Center in Los Angeles Michael Jackson seems to have been in good enough shape to pull it off.

Announcing the shows at London's O2 earlier this year the 'King Of Pop' said "this is it, this is really it".

Fans will now at least get a glimpse of what the star said would be his 'final curtain call'.
