Transformers stars at UK premiere

The cast of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen came together on a blue carpet in London's Leicester Square for the UK premiere of the movie, under the watchful eye of a giant transformer.

Megan Fox takes on the role of Mikaela Banes. She said: "You show up and you know you'll either have a bomb go off in your face or you'll be running for three miles... so the whole thing is exciting."

Megan's co-star Shia LaBeouf, who plays the character of Sam Witwicky, told Newsbeat: "It's the biggest action film of the year and we're selling an anxiety attack. It's insane."

Josh Duhamel, who plays Captain Lennox, was also on hand for the London festivities. It's been a busy few months for the cast, with premieres all over the world including Berlin, Madrid and Tokyo.

This year's Apprentice losers Kate Walsh and Philip Taylor took a break from their business suits and joined other celebrities at the premiere, including Lemar and Danielle Lloyd.

X Factor finalists JLS put on a united front alongside hundreds of fans who braved the rain for the premiere. Revenge of the Fallen is the second in the Transformers series. It's out in the UK on 19 June.
