Take That kick off Circus tour

Take That

Take That have kicked off their biggest-selling UK tour The Circus Live at Sunderland's Stadium of Light. The band have a whopping 238 crew, including 40 people on stage for the elaborate show.

Gary Barlow told Newsbeat beforehand that the band weren't nervous at all, especially after months of planning. The singer admitted that the boys were trying things never attempted before on stage.

The band played two nights in Sunderland before moving off to upcoming dates in Coventry, Manchester and Glasgow, with four gigs planned for at Wembley Stadium.

Recognise these clowns from anywhere? The boys proved they don't take themselves too seriously by immersing themselves in the circus theme. Wonder what their kids make of it?
