The Jonas Brothers have hit the red carpet for their new 3D concert movie.

The trio got up close and personal with their fans at the UK premiere of their first film.

"Meeting the fans is amazing, we're so thankful they're so supportive and so passionate. It means a lot to us," Nick Jonas told Newsbeat.

The Jonas Brothers 3D Movie follows the band, who are a world-wide phenomenon, on tour in the States and behind the scenes.

As well has hanging out with fans, middle brother Joe pointed out a few other highlights of their visit to the UK.

"Shopping and the food is really great but breakfast could use a little work," he joked.

Eldest brother Kevin is a big fan of London too.

"I love the fashion of London, the fast pace is really cool and people's attitudes are really, really nice. They're very happy all the time, so they're cool," he said.

'Really proud'

Joe says it's a dream come true to see their first film in UK cinemas.

"It's a great feeling, it's something we've always dreamed of and we'll hopefully have more of," he gushes. "We're really proud and it's cool it can finally come over here."

The movie is filmed in 3D with some moments where objects seem to fly out of the screen.

In the film their fans get pretty hysterical too and you think they're going to be attacked at times.

"So were we," agrees Joe.

"Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it can be scary, most of the time you have to enjoy it."

Despite all the fan attention Kevin says they do still walk down the street without lots of security.

"We're normal guys, go shopping, the movies and hang out with our friends," he said.

"Just because our life is a little bit crazy doesn't mean we're not going to try and stay normal."

The band say the film will give British fans a taster of what's in store when they bring their world tour here in July and November.

"We start rehearsing next week for our world tour. We have an all new stage for our new record and single Paranoid," Kevin explained.

"It's going to be very exciting as it's our first world tour, so there are going to be new things."
