Michelle Keegan, aka Tina McIntyre from Coronation Street, arrives at the British Soap Awards at BBC's Television Centre. The 21-year-old actress won the sexiest female gong.

Jenna Louise Coleman

Emmerdale's Jenna-Louise Coleman was another of the soap babes stepping out on the red carpet. It was EastEnders though that got the public's overall vote for best soap.

Charley Webb

Emmerdale's Debbie Dingle, played by Charley Webb, goes for a classy black number. She was nominated for best actress, but it was a disappointing night for the soap - it only got one award.

Katherine Kelly

Coronation Street's Katherine Kelly, who plays Becky, got voted best actress. Corrie picked up six awards to big rival EastEnders' seven.

Gemma Bissix

Hollyoaks actress Gemma Bissix strikes a pose in her glamorous dress. Unfortunately, despite its popularity, the Channel 4 soap failed to win any awards at all.

Samia Smith

Samia Smith is all smiles in her jade green dress. The Coronation Street actress recently revealed she's pregnant and is due to give birth in October.

Kara Tointon

Kara Tointon who plays Eastenders' character Dawn Swann turned heads in a pearl-coloured outfit. It was also a good night for her co-star Robert Kazinsky (Sean Slater) who got the best actor prize.

Loui Batley

Loui Batley, Sarah Barnes from Hollyoaks, turned up in a loose black number. Meanwhile, Scott Maslen from EastEnders (Jack Branning) ended up with the sexiest male award.

Jennifer Metcalfe

Jennifer Metcalfe, Mercedes McQueen in Hollyoaks, wore a carpet-patterned dress to the ceremony. Coronation Street's Gray O'Brien (Tony Gordon) won villain of the year.
