Hugh Jackman

X-Men Origins: Wolverine stars Hugh Jackman as the hero. The film is a prequel to the X-Men movie trilogy, and portrays Wolverine before his skeleton is mixed with the indestructible metal adamantium.

Halle Berry

Halle Berry also turned up to the premiere, at Los Angeles' Grauman's Manns Chinese Theatre. She's set to appear in Frankie And Alice this year, playing a woman with multiple personalities.

Black Eyed Peas

Black Eyed Peas posed on the red carpet. Band member Will.I.Am makes his first major film appearance in Wolverine, playing John Wraith, a mutant with the ability to teleport.

Mel Gibson

Mel Gibson was accompanied by Oksana Grigorieva at the premiere - Gibson is to star in a film adaptation of the BBC drama Edge Of Darkness later this year.

Lynn Collins

Lynn Collins plays Jackman's love interest, Kayla Silver Fox, in the film. The American was previously better known for her Shakespearean roles.

Dominic Monaghan

Lost and Lord Of The Rings actor Dominic Monaghan also stars in the film, playing Bolt, a mutant who can control electricity.

Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds plays Deadpool, a fellow mutant. The Van Wilder actor has reportedly been keen to be involved in the prequel since 2003.
