Patsy Palmer turned up at the Trics to accept the soap of the year award for EastEnders. Gavin and Stacey won best satellite and digital programme with Top Gear winning best TV entertainment programme.

Gemma Arterton

James Bond actress Gemma Arterton strikes a pose inside the awards ceremony. Gemma Arterton has recently been filming with Jake Gyllenhaal for the upcoming Prince of Persia movie.

Michelle Keegan and Katherine Kelly

Coronation Street actresses Michelle Keegan and Katherine Kelly were all smiles at the event. Elsewhere Sir Trevor McDonald beat Fiona Phillips and Fiona Bruce to be named the top newscaster.

Alan Carr

Alan Carr, who hosts the Sunday Night Project with Justin Lee Collins, puckers up to his award for best TV personality. The prizes are voted for by people who work in the media industry.

Adele Silva, Katherine Kelly and Daniella Westbrook
