The cast of The Young Victoria, including Miranda Richardson, Rupert Friend, Emily Blunt and Jim Broadbent, were out in force on a very regal purple carpet for the movie's world premiere in London.
The Devil Wears Prada star Emily Blunt plays Queen Victoria in the film which follows her teenage years and charts her romance with Prince Albert. Emily's dress got a little wet on the purple carpet.
Rupert Friend plays Prince Albert in the movie. On working with his co-star he said: "Emily is a terrible giggler, that's my scoop for you. She's an incredible actress but she can't stop laughing."
Rupert's girlfriend Keira Knightley was on hand to offer some moral support. Other stars in attendance included veteran Sir Ben Kingsley and Love Actually actor Bill Nighy.
Some modern day royals also turned up, including The Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson who is also one of the producers, alongside Martin Scorsese. The film is released in the UK on 6 March.
