Christian Bale

Christian Bale collected a host of awards for Batman film The Dark Knight. The film, which also starred the late Heath Ledger, won favourite on-screen match-up, action movie, cast and superhero.

Hugh Laurie

Hugh Laurie won the award for favourite male TV star for House at the awards, held at LA's Shrine Auditorium on Wednesday night.

Jordin Sparks

Jordin Sparks at the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards. The American Idol singer took home an award for herself and R&B star Chris Brown for their duet on No Air.

Kate Hudson

Actress Kate Hudson accepted the award for favourite leading lady at LA's People's Choice Awards. She starred in Fool's Gold with Matthew McConaughey in 2008.

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton also turned up to the People's Choice Awards, held at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on Wednesday night.

Queen Latifah

The ceremony was hosted by Queen Latifah - no stranger to awards herself, the rapper-turned-actress has in the past won a Golden Globe and a Grammy.

Kid Rock and Robin Williams

Robin Williams and Kid Rock were among the celebrities presenting awards at the bash, with Williams delivering a typically flamboyant speech onstage at the Shrine Auditorium.
