Alan Carr picked up the award for best comedy entertainment personality. However, the comedian's been criticised for jokingly dedicating his award to Karen Matthews.

Eva Mendes

Hollywood actress Eva Mendes looked elegant in a pearl-coloured dress. She's been in London to promote her new film The Spirit which sees her star alongside Scarlett Johansson.

Kelly Brook

TV presenter Kelly Brook was another celebrity to add a touch of glamour to the event. She also brought along her rugby-playing boyfriend Danny Cipriani.

Cast of Gavin and Stacy

The cast of Gavin and Stacy celebrate winning the prize for best TV comedy. The much-praised BBC series is back for a festive special on Christmas Eve.

Dita von Teese

Burlesque star Dita von Teese was also at the ceremony which saw other awards going to Russell Brand for best live stand-up, and Ricky Gervais for best comedy actor.
