Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford on fame and filming in New York

Chace Crawford, 23, is a heart-throb in real life, as well as playing one in ITV2's Gossip Girl.

The Texan-born actor is Nate Archibald in the show.

It's based on the lives of a group of super-rich teenagers in New York who get all their latest news from an online and text service.

Viewing figures aren't that big for the TV show in the UK, but it's massive online with fans downloading episodes and clips from the web.

And the rumours that surround its stars live up to the show's title.

Chace Crawford told Newsbeat: "I've dated everyone now. It's weird.

I've heard random things, like we see ghosts. I don't like to hear the stuff that we're quarrelling on set or there are these fights. It's just not true.

We shoot 80 hours a week and we'll still be like, 'What are you guys doing? Let's go grab dinner, let's go grab a beer'."

Season two of Gossip Girl start on ITV2 in January.
