Wallace and Gromit's new cartoon

Chop Socky Chooks is an animated series about three kung-fu fighting chickens from the creators of Wallace and Gromit. It premieres in the UK later this year on the Cartoon Network.

Chuckie Chan, KO Joe and Chick P are the three mysterious stars of Chop Socky Chooks who live and work in Wasabi World, a Tokyo meets Las Vegas-style shopping mall.

The mall's owner is a mutated fish, Dr Wasabi, voiced by Paul Kaye, who frequently unleashes plans to take over the world. The Chooks risk their lives to protect the people of Wasabi World.

Peter Kaye said he took his inspiration for the role from James Bond villains: "My character Dr Wasabi is an arch amalgamation of every Bond villain I ever admired in a little shark body."
