The Mighty Boosh Band in concert

Noel Fielding and The Mighty Boosh Band warm up for The Mighty Boosh Festival with a gig at Cargo nightclub in east London. Their one-day festival takes place on 5 July at Hop Farm in Kent.

The band played some of the favourites from the TV show including Electro Boy and Charlie. The Boosh boys are also headlining the Big Chill Festival at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire from 1-3 August.

The Mighty Boosh began life as Arctic Boosh at the Edinburgh Festival in 1999. In 2001, their Radio 4 show The Mighty Boosh won a comedy award. The TV series was first screened on BBC Three in 2004.

Other plans for Julian Barratt (pictured) and the rest of the band include a second Mighty Boosh tour of the UK from September until January 2009, a Mighty Boosh album and a film version of the Boosh.
