Hollywood actors reveal 2008 plans
We have had the Baftas, the Oscars and most recently the Empire Awards - so what is in the pipeline for some of the award season's success stories?

Matt Damon

Matt Damon says he is definitely not about to start work on a fourth Bourne movie any time soon, despite scooping the best film gong at the Empire Film Awards.

He said: "We never said anything about a fourth movie. I think it's just one of those stories that kind of got a life of its own.

"Not that we're against it - we're all for doing a fourth movie but it means coming up with a good story and there a lot of things that have to happen before we would sign up to do it."

Damon and Bourne director Paul Greengrass are currently working together again in Iraq film The Green Zone, which is being made in Morocco.

Different views

He continued: "We didn't really have an agenda when we set out to make it, other than we really wanted to make a really good movie and a really honest movie.

"There's not one opinion that the movie puts forward. People have very different views about what went on and what our role in the world is."

Meanwhile, Hot Fuzz star Simon Pegg has been talking about his role in the new Star Trek film which he has been working on.

He says he has borrowed his wife's Scottish accent to play Scotty.

Beam me up

He said: "Everything is just a tribute to original actor James Doohan. It's his role and I'm very honoured to be able to step into those shoes. I just hope I do him proud.

"It's a great script and it's going to be a fantastic film. So I think, Trekkies relax! It's a bit of a dream come true really, just being there on the Enterprise, it was incredible. You're going to love it - trust me."

Simon's Hot Fuzz co-star Nick Frost has been busy working on the new movie from Bridget Jones filmmaker Richard Curtis, called The Boat That Rocks.

It is a comedy about a radio station on a ship and has already involved some bonding with co-stars including Philip Seymour Hoffman and Rhys Ifans.

He says they have spent a week on the ship getting to know one another so far and he is looking forward to the shoot.
