Stars perform at Switch Live gig

Alexandra Burke was amongst a star-studded line-up at this year's Switch Live event at the Hammersmith Apollo in west London. The X Factor winner's just celebrated her second number one and performed Hallelujah and Bad Boys.

JLS have just knocked X Factor judge Cheryl Cole from the number one spot with Everybody in Love. They took to the stage for a special rendition, as well as previous chart-topper Beat Again.

Boys and Girls singer Pixie Lott was on hand to add a bit of glamour. As well as live music, there were also the Switch Live awards voted for by the public. Switch's Hottest Hit went to N-Dubz - who also performed - and Tinchy Stryder, for Number One.

Black Eyed Peas put on one of their trademark performances before heading over to X Factor for the live results show. They said they had no idea they'd be performing in front of 4,000 people.

Gavin and Stacey's James Corden and Radio 1's very own Fearne Cotton were amongst the presenters who took to the mic. Fearne was named Switch's Stylish Human, beating off competition from the likes of Agyness Deyn and Nicola Roberts.

The Saturdays went for co-ordinated black outfits for their set which included hits Just Can't Get Enough, Issues and Forever is Over. Cheryl Cole was named Switch's Prom Queen, while Prom King went to Twilight star Robert Pattinson.

Shaheen Jafargholi, who wowed stars at Michael Jackson's memorial concert, performed hits Who's Loving You and Lean On Me. Switch's Outstanding Artist award went to JLS, while Skins bagged the best telly gong.
