Watch the drama unfold on election night with the all the latest results, political drama and excitement with BBC Wales's extensive coverage on television, radio and online.

Catch the launch of BBC Wales' first-ever English-language television results programme, Vote 2001, on BBC2 Wales.

Starting at 2150 GMT on June 7 and running through the night until 0400 BST, the programme will be hosted by BBC Wales' political editor David Williams and Betsan Powys.

BBC Wales's parliamentary correspondent David Cornock will be on hand analysing the results as they arrive.

The programme will include live contributions from our videophone diarists.

BBC Radio Wales is also broadcasting an election programme throughout the night.

Peter Johnson hosts the programme with Patrick Hannan.
