On the buses
The BBC's team of correspondents with the leaders
The BBC has correspondents dedicated to reporting the every move of Tony Blair, William Hague and Charles Kennedy over the next four weeks.

They will listen to their every word, watch their every step, gauge the public's reaction and quiz the politicians on every aspect of policy.

But above all, they will keep you informed about the goings on aboard the infamous battlebuses.

Tim Hirsch experiences a carnival atmosphere on Hague's walkabout in Shrewsbury.

James Helm reports on the final week of campaigning with Tony Blair as the prime minister rallies supporters in the Midlands.

June Kelly on the Lib Dem bus finds that some voters still don't know what the party leaders look like.

The correspondents with the Prime Minister are Carolyn Quinn and James Robbins. June Kelly and Peter Hunt will be on the Liberal Democrat bus, and the team on the Tory trail are Tim Hirsch and Laura Trevelyan.

Together they will keep you up-to-date on the leaders' campaigns - both the parts the leaders want you to see, and also the parts they don't.

Keep in touch with what's really happening on the election trail by clicking on the buttons on the right-hand side of the page.
