Pudsey, BBC Radio York and you

This year's Children in Need appeal is on 20th November and BBC Radio York is doing something very special this year.

Join Pudsey and the buskers at York Railway Station

We'll be showing off our talents of a musical kind by busking with Pudsey Bear at York Railway Station and we need your help.

If you are a whizz on the piano or a fantastic singer, either solo or in a band or choir, and you can spare us half an hour of your time, we'd love you to come and join in the fun.

You can get in touch by ringing 01904 641641 or by emailing us.

We're expecting to be joined by some special guests too, we'll tell you all about them nearer the time.

What are you up to?

Last year you helped to raise a record breaking £37.8m and more than £120,000 of that money came back to North Yorkshire to help fund projects which benefit children in the county.

Fundraising for Children in Need
A sponsored silence might go down well with your friends or colleagues!

We want to know what you've got planned this year. No matter how big or small your plans, whether you're fundraising at work, school, college or at home, let us know what you're doing to raise money for Children in Need.

You need to register your event on the Children in Need website.

The sooner you tell us about it, the sooner we can tell the rest of North Yorkshire what you're doing.

Don't forget we want your photos too. Email pictures of your Children in Need fundraising event to northyorkshire@bbc.co.uk.
