As more and more people head to Scarborough for its waves, RNLI lifeguards have to deal with the rising numbers of incidents involving surfers and bodyboarders, accounting for over 40% of their total work.

Tim Machon from the RNLI and surfer, Steve Crawford told BBC Look North's Carla Fowler about surfing in Scarborough.
