A candidate in the new series of hit reality TV show, The Apprentice, was born in Swindon.

Raleigh Addington, 22, is the son of a Calne farmer, and will be seen when the series returns on BBC1 at 9pm on Wednesday 6 October.

He recently graduated from Exeter University with a degree in Economics and Politics, then spent a gap year living in Shanghai, China.

Whilst being a professional tennis coach, he is currently unemployed.

He said a lot of people compare him to London mayor, Boris Johnson, and refers to chocolate magnate John Cadbury as a business inspiration.

London-based Raleigh has variously described himself as "enthusiastic, friendly and ambitious", "bumbling", and claims "I'm ruthless, even in Monopoly."

While at Exeter, he proved himself quite the entrepreneur when he elicited a donation of £1m whilst working in the university's fund-raising department.
