Seven Wiltshire voices have come together to read a poem, and share their memories of fallen soldiers
On 21st September 1914, The Times published the Laurence Binyon poem 'For The Fallen' about the outbreak of the First World War. Its words would later adorn war memorials throughout Britain. Now, seven Wiltshire voices have come together to read that poem, and share their memories of fallen Wiltshire soldiers. They are mothers, daughters, wives and comrades - and they have lost friends and family in most of the conflicts in living memory. Binyon was working at the British Museum when he wrote the poem, and did not go to the Western Front himself until 1916. He served as a Red Cross orderly.
