Remembrance poppy crosses
The skies cleared from torrential rain to sunshine for the 2009 Remembrance Sunday parade in front of Sunderland's cenotaph.

Tom Cuthbertson is a part of Brothers in Arms who want a memorial in Sunderland for soldiers who have died since World War II.

Divers in the River Wear have stumbled across artefacts given to a former Archbishop of Canterbury and Durham, Michael Ramsay.
