First record you bought?

Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep by Middle of the Road.

Most interesting person you've interviewed?

Anne Frank's sister. I was very moved by her story.

At the other extreme, the Sugababes. My children were very impressed with that one - they took a photo to school and told everyone, "that's my mam, you know!"

What couldn't you live without?

Music is important to me - and my lippy.

What keeps you awake at night?

My kids - I worry about them.

Person you would most enjoy being stuck in a lift with?

Tom Cruise or Rod Stewart.

Proudest achievement?

To be nominated for, and win, the North East Comedy Award - the first woman to do so.

Happiest memory?

My kids as toddlers.

Any bad habits?

I switch topics in conversations however I am addressing this!

If you ruled the world what would you change?

The wages of celebrities and football players. Try to wipe out world poverty and stop war.
