Kielder ospreys caught on film

Footage has been released of the record-breaking ospreys nesting at Kielder Forest in Northumberland.

The pair entered the record books in 2009 by raising the first osprey chicks born in the north-east of England for at least 200 years.

They were re-united in the forest earlier this year after making their separate ways back from sub-Saharan Africa.

Two cameras are pointed at the nest and live images of the birds can be viewed at Kielder Castle from 10am to 4pm daily.
