The government's spending review has triggered a stormy political debate that will no doubt rumble on for some time to come.

The Chancellor, George Osborne, requires billions of pounds of cuts which will affect communities across our region and hit jobs, services and benefits.

BBC Look North's political reporters have been to three streets bearing the chancellor's name in three very different parts of the north-east of England - Osborne Road in Stockton, Osborne Avenue in Carlisle and Osborne Road in Newcastle.

It was a journey that began on Teesside with Luke Walton.
