My Passion at Rhythms of the World 2010

My Passion
My Passion headlined the Introducing stage on the Saturday

My Passion wrapped up day one of Rhythms of the World 2010 with a storming set on the Introducing stage.

The Hitchin based group have been going from strength to strength and it is easy to see why.

Their explosive antics whipped the crowd into a frenzy and their brand of infectious goth/horror punk captivated people with it's hook-laden melodies.

The boys were greatly anticipated by many fans and they definitely didn't disappoint.

Playing your hometown is so much scarier because you know the people in the crowd, they'll recognize you in the supermarket!
My Passion

The local boys have worked incredibly hard to get where they are today, playing any and every show they possibly could.

In their own words:

"Even if there's only one or two people there, you give 100% because they're potential fans, or even record label reps!"

Having recently played Download Festival, one of the biggest rock and metal fests in the UK, you'd be forgiven for thinking that a homecoming gig in Hitchin would be a breeze for them.

Quite the opposite is true:

"Playing your hometown is so much scarier because you know the people in the crowd, they'll recognize you in the supermarket!"

Exciting time

It's an exciting time to be part of the My Passion team right now.

The group are off to Japan to play the Summer Sonic festival before a few dates in Germany.

Then they set out for a UK headline tour through October.

Not bad for four lads from Hitchin eh?
